GETTING TO THE POINT OF MACBETH

 "It seems like every great work of literature has at least one main idea that readers take away.  In Macbeth, the main idea has to do with the destruction of when ambition goes unchecked by moral constrains. Macbeth is not naturally inclined to commit evil things but he really wants power and advancement. Macbeth makes an important point about the nature of violence even those done for selfless reasons.
