My Semester Goal

What do you want to learn or accomplish between now and finals week?  What grade are you aiming for?  What do you plan to do over these next couple weeks to achieve your goal?

There are few thing that i want to learn and accomplish between now and finals that is to catch up on all my assignments and studying for any tests or quizzes. I also want to learn how to build my own business in my business economics. My grades that I am aiming for are to have A's and B's. So far I have 3 A's and 2 B's with a 3.0 GPA. My plan to do these next couple of weeks to achieve my goal is to do good in my next projects and study for my finals.

Hamlet 2.0

If the story of Hamlet could be updated for 2018, how do you think mobile phones/text/internet/other technology would change the characters' interactions and the story itself? 
In my opinion I think that if the story of hamlet could update for 2018 I think that technology would change the characters interactions. I think it can change the way how hamlets story is by changing the way of how it is written. I also think that it wouldn't change as much because I still think that characters can still be the same. Also the only thing that can change would be the way it can be written such as the emotions and the actions they made.

How I learn

The way I learn is how I organize myself first since when I wake up. I have one hour to get ready and start walking to by 8am. I normally get to school 10 minutes before the bell rings. I get my things ready for that class since I have math. After my 2 class I go to my third that is culinary arts(cooking class) I get my notebook and learn about we are going to do it that class. My fourth  period is floral design, I get my things ready to learn about a new flower and also make flower designs. My fifth period is English and what I do when I get to class is to write in my journal, we also ready about things that we have to write about it on our blog. My 6th period I have business economics and one we walk in the class room we put our phones by the teachers desk, than we have to get our books and binder while she explains what we are doing, normally we always use the computers in that class. My 7th period I am a TA I mostly help the teacher grade other kids work from another period. How I learn is in each class we write, we use books but we berly use electronics.

I Mean What I Say

I was in class when we started to read hamlet Act III when my teacher asked the class what integrity means. Integrity means the quantity of being honest. I think that integrity can mean something to me by being honest in anyway. I think that it can be related to honestly is to follow your ethic conviction. I think that ic can be easy to be honest but sometimes difficult on depending on what you might say.

Hamlet and Me

    Since I have started to read hamlet for the first time I think that its really interesting. I have been reading Act I & II I think I found some what of any connections such as life experience. One of them is trust such as trusting someone but even those who are close to you can be your enemy. Many of us people is when someone hurts someone we love we want revenge. 

    In Hamlets Acts is that there are emotions such as anger, sadness etc. The places and cultures are different now from back than. This act can teach someone to not always trust someone so much because you will never know if they one day they might turn against you. Hamlet taught us something to always watch your back and even if people have hurt you in anyways you should not want to get revenge and let them go. 

Hamlet Summary Acts I & II

     There were many things that happened in Act I it all started when 2 soldiers that witness to have seen the ghost of the former King of Denmark. Days later the were welcoming Horatio to verify their ghost sighting. They tried to communicate with the ghost, after Horatio has finished explaining the political backstory and the ghost of old hamlet appeared. As the the court of Claudius and Gertrude the king and queen of Denmark were married but one of them has died. Time went by that one day Claudius asks hamlet "why is he so gloomy".
    So than hamlet said that his grief upon losing his father still deeply affects him. After chatting about the stated, Horatio tells hamlet that he has seen his dead father recently. Laertes advises her about relationship with hamlet, with whom she has been spending much with her time lately. Reynaldo after Laertes to inquire into his sons' conduct.
      He instructs Reynaldo very precisely in the method of obtaining his information.The King Claudius has made plans of his own to discover the reason of hamlets supposed madness. Claudius and Polonius, try as they might to play the part of Machiavellian lords of state, are really quite out of their depth. He than plays the role of  the melancholic madman almost as through Polonius is a gullible audience member.

A modest proposal

I was reading an assignment that my teacher gaved us about “A Modest Proposal” it talked about many things but it also talked bout the poor people. It some of the reading it said that a those mothers don’t have a job but ask people around for money to support their children. Children that grow up being poor can end up making poor decision but some also would want to turn there life around and have a fresh start.

Montaigne’s writing on education

I was reading about Montaigne’s writing on education and I thought it was interesting about the part of the way we learn things. A way of learning something is doing it over and over again, for example “one learns dancing by dancing; one learns to play the lute by playing the lute.” Learning how to do new things is an experience of learning opportunities. While I kept reading I read “Traveling is useful; so is socializing, which teaches the child to be open to others and to adapt to anyone around them”. I feel like reading about it makes sense because it’s true what it says learning new things can be good for an open mind.

August 15 Santa Maria High School Assembly

I thought that the assembly was boring because we been to that same assembly since freshman year, technically about 4 years now. All they talked about was about how you can accomplish anything and following the rules.
